Exploring the use of direct corrective feedback on writing an Undergraduate Thesis

<p class="AbstractText"><em>This study explored the use of direct corrective feedback in Thesis Proposal writing course where students are expected to develop their undergraduate thesis proposal at Universitas Brawijaya and how can help deal with academic writing. The data were obtained from six who have taken Writing one lecturer taught using two instruments: an interview guide observation checklists triangulate ensure validity. result showed that: (1) was employed by teachers because most suitable comprehensive (2) provided through Google Classroom Documents for asynchronous meeting Meet synchronous (3) Direct helped since had high positive attitude is preferred revise drafts. In teaching writing, implied that it will be very beneficial teacher provide as strategies correct drafts easily.</em></p>
